Workshop: "Alejandro Junco Scholarships Research Workshop"

The Alejandro Junco Scholarships for the Study of U.S.-Mexico Social Problems were created in 2010 to encourage collaborative research between LLILAS students and counterparts in Mexico on issues of pressing social importance to the two countries. The 2010 recipients of the Junco Scholarships will present the results of their research this summer on the issue of industrial contamination in Puebla state; sexual exploitation of women and children in central Mexico; and reforestation efforts in Veracruz.
