Highly acclaimed Brazilian artist and painter Daniel Senise will discuss contemporary Brazilian art.
Daniel Senise in one of the so-call 'Geração 80/80s Generation' of Brazilian artists responsible for reviving painting as a medium in Brazil in the 1980s, following the end of military rule. Since 1988, he has worked with alternatives to canvas and paint, using iron, dust, and other organic materials, as well as techniques such as frottage that allow him to build up the painting in layers.
