Lecture: "The Revolutionary Fall of the First Global Economy: Hairi and the Bajío, 1790-1820"

John Tutino, Georgetown University, has received two presitgious awards for his most recent book, Making a New World: Founding Capitalism in the Bajío and Spanish North America, the first from the Social Science History Association and the second from the Conference on Latin American History.
