Dr. Norman Long, Professor Emeritus at Wageningen University, Netherlands, will provide an overview of actor and interface approaches to development illustrated with Chinese and Latin American case studies. He is the author and co-author of numerous publications on development, including Development Sociology: Actor Perspectives; Anthropology, Development, and Modernities; and Battlefields of Knowledge: The Interlocking of Theory and Practice in Social Research and Development.
