Her work has been exhibited at two Whitney biennials and recentely at Tate Liverpool and the Centre d'Art Contemporain la Synagogue de Delme in France. She is author of A Field Guide for Female Interrogators and editor of several books. She is currently Associate Professor of Fine Arts at Parsons The New School for Design.
