Lecture: ''Democracy, Transparency, and Mexico's IFAI''

Mari­a Marvan received a doctorate in sociology from the New School for Social Research in New York, and prior to her appointment at the IFAI was a research professor at the Universidad de Guadalajara and a member of the SNI since 2002. She is author of several major works on democratic reform in Mexico and previously served as an adviser to the IFE in Jalisco State and to the Consejo Social del Instituto Nacional de las Mujeres.
