The Center for Mexican American Studies, in conjunction with the Department of English, welcomes Carlos Decena of Rutgers University for a graduate seminar. Decena is associate professor in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers. His areas of interest include critical theory and social/cultural analysis with emphasis on transnationalism and diaspora in the American continent, queer color critique, and critical public health.
