A video essay set in the Mexican-U.S. border town of Cuidad Juarez, where U.S. multinational corporations assemble electronic equipment just across the border from El Paso, Texas. This experimental work explores the sexualization of the border region through labor division, prostitution, and sexual violence in the public sphere. Directed by Ursula Biemann. Featured as part of the Center for Women and Gender Studies' Gender and Technology Film Series.
