LANIC Graduate Research Assitantants

LANIC has several one-year or longer Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) available. Generally, hiring is for positions beginning September 1. Resumes may be submitted anytime. Interviews are conducted in May and August.

Appointment as a GRA grants eligibility for Resident Tuition Entitlement (payment of tuition at rate established for Texas residents).

Duties: To provide network information services

• graduate student in Latin American Studies or other department with a Latin American concentration
• strong computer skills including experience developing WWW pages, HTML, FTP, and a range of software programs
• working knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish
