Ana Nunez-Ruiz

Ana Patricia is a Ph. D. student in Latin American Studies with a concentration in art history, and minors in Spanish and history. Her dissertation director is Prof. Andrea Giunta, and the topic is the work of German-Mexican artist Mathias Goeritz. Her focus is Mexico City from 1950–1968. A native of Mexico, she came to Texas where she graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Incarnate Word. Ruiz-Healy holds an M.A. in art history from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has done postgraduate work in London at the Sotheby’s Institute and at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
