Sun, November 21, 2010 • 3:30 PM • Texas Union Theatre

db-image

The program will be a combination of classical Indian Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi and fusion pieces involving these dance forms. It will be a thoroughly enjoyable performance and it is for a very important cause, that we are certain the UT community will be interested in contributing to. We are presenting a three hour program consisting of 6 dance pieces. Three of these will be purely classical, and three will be fusion dances (Bharathanatyam movements and grace set to alternative music choices). Sahaja's theme is one which celebrates the variety of instruments used in indian classical music, with each fusion piece focusing on the exhibition of one instrument style. For more information please visit our website: www.nrityasangam.webstarts.com.

We offer a student/faculty discount on the admission price, the cost is $5 for students/faculty/seniors/children and $8 general admission. Once again we want to extend a kind welcome and we do hope you'll join us this weekend.
