REPORTS TO: Julia Clark, Membership Associate 
HOURS: 15-20/month 

This internship is an unpaid opportunity to learn about and participate in the day-to-day programmatic functions of a non-profit organization. The Photography Intern will provide assistance to Blanton staff by capturing images of museum activities including special events, educational tours, and public programs. This internship is a chance for a student to gain valuable real-world photography experience and insight into how a museum and its programs operate. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. 

The Photography Intern’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 
• Photographing museum programs and events, including membership events, music programs, and public tours 
• Labeling and cataloging photographs 
• Color correcting and editing photos for high-quality results 
• File sharing photos in a timely manner to be digitally archived 

• Current UT undergraduate or graduate student 
• Prior photography experience is required 
• Flexible schedule to photograph day, evening, and weekend events 
• Punctual and dependable 
• Desire to learn about the operations of a not-for-profit organization 
• Discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information 
• Have access to or own a digital SLR camera 
• Knowledge of DropBox or other file sharing software
