International Jobs

Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?  If only you could find a way to go abroad and, better yet, get someone else to pay for it!  Finding an international job is a challenging task and generally only the best succeed.  I wrote this web guide to help you get started on your search for an international job or career.  Please note that my emphasis is on positive realism.  I am not going to lead you down a rosy path implying that international jobs are plentiful and easy to find.  You cannot assume that IBM will open their doors to you because you studied in France last year.

On the other hand, the number of UT alumni working in international positions attests to the possibilities for interesting international employment.  Both short-term and long-term opportunities are available, so if you’re ready for a challenge and you have a lot of perseverance and determination, the world is yours!

Best wishes on your international job search and please take advantage of the services in Liberal Arts Career Services.
