LiberalArts@Work

LiberalArts@Work is our on-line system offering Liberal Arts students full access to a variety of career management needs, including:

  • Job and internship search
  • On-campus interview sign-up
  • Document management - resume, cover letter and work samples
  • Resume referrals, become searchable by employers (opt-in basis)

Why register?

Register with LACS to gain access to our career and pre-law advisors, as well as our online services, including job and internship postings, on-campus interviewing, and employer resume referrals.

Who can register?

UT Austin current, degree-seeking liberal arts students and liberal arts alumni within one semester of graduation are eligible to use the comprehensive resources of Liberal Arts Career Services, including LiberalArts@Work. Alumni and non-degree seeking students, including UT employees in the Staff Educational Benefit program, can take advantage of limited services, including use of the career center library and attendance at career fairs and workshops. Individual staff appointments and use of recruiting services are not available. For information about other career resources on campus, please visit our alumni page.

How to Register

Step 1

View the LiberalArts@Work On-line Orientation . The orientation provides a quick tutorial of the LiberalArts@Work system.

Step 2

Thoroughly read and understand the Registration Agreement, available at the end of the on-line orientation. The Registration Agreement details our policies and guidelines to which all students must adhere when participating in the career search and interviewing process.

Step 3

From the orientation page, you can then link to LiberalArts@Work to create your account.

Step 4

Within 2 business days of your registration, your account will be activated and you will receive a Welcome to LiberalArts@Work email. As a registrant with LiberalArts@Work, you can:

  • Search for jobs and internships
  • Apply for on-campus interviewing opportunities
  • Participate in the employer resume referral program
  • Upload and manage your career-search related documents (resume, cover letter, etc).
