Pre-Law Advising
Pre-Law Advising is available to all students in the College of Liberal Arts through Liberal Arts Career Services.
Pre-Law Services can help you:
- Determine whether being a lawyer is a good career path for you
- Figure out ways to prepare for the LSAT
- Research law schools
- Put together a law school application that highlights your unique qualities
- Revise and finalize your resume and personal statement
Pre-Law Advising is offered for Liberal Arts students by walk-in or appointment. Pre-Law walk-in hours are staffed by peer advisors and are available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4pm in FAC 18. Walk-ins are appropriate for students in the preliminary stages of law school planning. To set up an appointment with the Pre-Law Advisor, stop by our office in Flawn Academic Center Suite 18 or call 471-7900. To see the Pre-Law Advisor you must first register with our office at Liberal Arts@Work and you must read the Pre-Law Handbook in full.
Students outside the College of Liberal Arts are welcome to use the Resource Library (FAC 18), attend workshops, and the Annual Law School Fair. Individual appointments cannot be made for students outside of Liberal Arts. Please check with your college to determine if there are other Pre-Law services that are available to you.
