Information Sessions
Some organizations choose to hold informal information sessions at which a recruiter will give a short presentation about their company, the industry they operate within and about job and internship opportunities available. Due to their smaller scale, information sessions often provide a chance for you to have your questions answered and for a recruiter to get to know you more so than during the Career Expo or at the Job and Internship Fair.
To Prepare: Do your organization research! A career coach can give you some tips on how and where to gather information you can use to prepare for the session and to help identify employers that will be a good fit for you. Remember, you should be at your best when talking to recruiters at these events since you are trying to impress!
