Liberal Arts Council is the official student organization of the College of Liberal Arts. We understand that the job search process can sometimes feel overwhelming; here are a few tips to help make the search easier and to help reach your goal:
- Be prepared. Attend a Career Fair Workshop and visit Liberal Arts Career Services for help.
- Be confident. Employers are actively seeking out Liberal Art students - now is the time to demonstrate your strengths and abilities!
- Get excited. As a Liberal Arts student, your possibilities for employment and internships are endless - consider the world of opportunities!

Employers from Austin and around the world are looking for UT Austin Liberal Arts students to fill their internship positions! Internships are available for the spring, summer, and fall.
Logon 24/7 to view and apply for internship opportunities. As part of the Virtual Internship Fair, you have direct access for the week to company representatives ready to answer any questions you might have about their internship programs. Depending on the preference of the company representative, contact may be via email or phone.
The purpose of this event is to allow students to view opportunities at their convenience and to interact directly with company representatives. By registering for this event, companies have indicated a strong interest in reviewing UT Austin Liberal Arts applications.
Virtual Career Fair for International Students
Date: January 12, 2009 - June 1, 2009
Many international students studying in the United States find the search for jobs and internships to be challenging. Liberal Arts Career Services is pleased to announce that our international students now have the opportunity to connect with interested employers through a virtual career fair just for international students.
- wish to return to their home country for full-time or internship/co-op opportunities.
- are currently pursuing one-year Optional Practical Training (OPT) and/or long-term opportunities in the United States.
- are currently pursuing summer Curricular Practical Training (CPT) internships in the United States
The NACE International Students Vritual Career Fair is FREE and open to international UT Liberal Arts students:
Through the fair, you'll have access to interested employers and their full-time, internship and co-op opportunities.
