Joe Straus (R-San Antonio), Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, will appear in the Texas Politics Speaker Series to discuss issues before the 82nd Texas Legislature. Speaker Straus was elected to represent District 121 in the Texas House in a 2005, and was selected by the body to be Speaker in 2009.
