Tue, February 11, 2014

Assistant Professor David Quinto-Pozos has just published an edited collection on atypical language in the signing community.  There are chapters on specific language impairment, autism and sign language development, sign stuttering, sign dysarthria, and dementia. Two chapters consider the special forms of bilingualism that are encountered in signing communities.  His book, Multilingual Aspects of Signed Language Communication and Disorder, was published by Multilingual Matters.  For further information, go to: http://www.multilingual-matters.com/display.asp?isb=9781783091294
