Dr. Jeremy Friedman's paper explores the connections between the Sino-Soviet split and the trajectory of the Unidad Popular government in Chile from 1970–73.  Respondent: Jonathan C. Brown, Department of History

Jeremy Friedman is Associate Director of the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy at Yale University and a Lecturer in the History Department where he teaches coursees on Soviet history and the Cold War in the "Third World." He completed his dissertation, Reviving Revolution: The Sino-Soviet Split, the "Third World," and the Fate of the Left, at Princeton University in 2011 under the supervision of Stephen Kotkin.
