Ms. Luz Lajous is President of the Board for Pro Mujer in Mexico City, a non-profit international micro-finance organization whose mission is to help women lift themselves and their families out of poverty. She is past President of the International Women's Forum, the foremost global women's leaders' organizations and was the first non-US President of the IWF. As a member of the PRI, Mexico, Lajous has also served two terms in the House of Representatives, and one term in the Mexican Senate during which time she was President of the Mexico City Legislative Committee.
