The Division of Diversity and Community Engagement sponsors the Abriendo Brecha activist scholarship conference. The morning session focuses on the legacy of segregation in Austin. In the afternoon, a graduate student panel examines activist research in the Americas. The conference closes with a keynote address by Alexis Pauline Gumbs.
