LLILAS Announces its Newest Center Directors

LLILAS is excited to welcome Dr. Bryan Roberts, Department of Sociology, and Dr. Chandler Stolp, LBJ School of Public Affairs, as its two newest center directors.

The Mexican Center is proud to announce the return of Dr. Bryan Roberts as its director, a position he previously held in the late 1980s. Dr. Roberts' activities encompass many funded research projects, most currently a research and training project on self-sustaining community development in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru and two projects on urbanization in Latin America.

The Brazil Center welcomes Dr. Chandler Stolp to the position of director. Dr. Stolp is an applied statistician and economist with interests in research methods, policy decisionmaking, regional development, and U.S.-Latin American relations. His research focuses on western hemispheric economic integration, regional economics, and public sector productivity.
