Declare a Major: Criteria
IF you meet ALL of the following criteria, you may declare your major and minor officially online.
You will not have to meet with an academic advisor to declare (though you may if you wish), BUT:
- You must be currently enrolled at UT Austin.
- You may NOT have completed an application for graduation this semester.
- You may NOT declare the following majors online at this time (see an academic advisor for information)
- African and African American Studies
- Humanities (Contract Required)
- Psychology
- You may NOT declare your major online more than three times in one semester.
