Advising & Registration Form
Each semester's coursework must be approved before registration.
MES 382 Conference Course Agreement
Conference course arrangements (selection of topic of study and supervising instructor) must be finalized and approved by the graduate advisor before you can register.
MES 382 Bump-Up Conference Course Agreement
Bump-up course arrangements must be finalized and approved by the graduate advisor before you can register.
Master’s Thesis Enrollment Form
Thesis arrangements (selection of topic of study, supervising instructor, and reader) must be finalized and approved by the graduate advisor before you can register.
Master's Report Enrollment Form
Report arrangements (selection of topic of study, supervising instructor, and reader) must be finalized and approved by the graduate advisor before you can register.
For students who wish to earn graduate credit. Instructions and requirements are listed on form.
Dual Language Program Declaration Form
The program requires that a student achieve proficiency equal to at least three years of coursework in two Middle Eastern languages.
Non-MES Course Credit Petition
This form is used to petition for a course in another department (not cross-listed with MES) to be counted toward the MES degree requirements. A minimum 30% Middle Eastern content is required, and your request must be approved by the graduate advisor by the twelfth class day.

Below are lists of MES courses and their classifications (arts/humanities, history, or social science). These lists will help you determine how a course will apply to your program of work. Exceptions to the list may be approved by the graduate advisor, but are rare.

MA Graduation Forms
Office of Graduate Studies webpage that lists all documents required for graduation from a master’s program.
For continuing students who did not register/pay/confirm attendance during pre-registration. Late registration is in effect starting 2 days before the 1st class day of each semester. It is the student’s responsibility to gather all the required signatures and deliver this form to the Graduate School, which is only needed after the 12th class day of a long semester (or 3rd class day in summers).
Leave of Absence
For master’s students seeking authorization for a single semester or academic year leave.
