If you are a graduate student, please contact Martha Gonzalez firstname.lastname@example.org for the discount code. You will need to email her a valid university ID.
2. Checks or Money Orders
Checks or money orders must have your full name as it appears on the abstract. Additionally, please write "2014 Africa Conference" on the method of payment. Money Orders and checks must be made out to "The University of Texas at Austin, History Department" and mailed to:Martha Gonzalez

Please note that Money Orders often require a transaction fee. You must pay this charge in addition to the registration fee in order to submit the correct payment amount to the University of Texas.
3. Direct Bank transfer
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request the required bank transfer information. When sending a wire payment it is very important to ensure that all bank information is copied correctly.
Include the following on the reference line: the contact person's name, phone number, and reason for payment (Martha Gonzalez: 1-512-475-7216: 2014 Africa Conf. Registration). This is essential so we can monitor whether your funds are correctly deposited.
It may take two weeks for payment to reach the University of Texas, so please make sure to send an email to email@example.com and the firstname.lastname@example.org after you complete the wiring process so we know to expect it. Unfortunately, we cannot send out any conference related material or visa letters until the payment has been deposited into our departmental account. It is very important that you carefully submit the correct information. We are not responsible for any lost funds.
Please note that there will be charges from the wiring agency/bank and that you must cover this in addition to the registration fee in order to submit the correct payment to the University of Texas.
