K-12 Outreach
Hemispheres combines the resources available at a major university with the need for new and updated resources in the public school classroom to provide innovative, ready to use materials for K-12 educators, students, and curriculum specialists.
- Seminars & Workshops - Find out more about upcoming seminars and workshops, and read about our past educational offerings.
- Speakers Bureau - Hemispheres can send speakers to your classroom, in-service or staff development events. Find out how to sign up!
- Staff Development - Hemispheres can come to your school, district, or regional in-service meetings to provide hands-on training with our resources, content training about the regions we represent, and more. And it doesn't cost anywhere near as much as you might expect.
- Lending Libraries - Each of Hemispheres' component Centers maintains a lending library of videos, curriculum units, books, artifact trunks, and other materials specifically designed for K-12 classrooms.

- Newsletter - Twice a year, we distribute a free newsletter with short content articles and lesson plan ideas. Here you can browse the newsletter archive and sign up for our mailing list.
- E-Bulletin: Every Wednesday Wednesday during the school year, we send out an E-Bulletin with information on upcoming educational, cultural, and international themed events from around the state. Sign up for our e-mail distribution list to start receiving the E-Bulletin.
