An insider’s guide to the apparel industry

The Division of Textiles and Apparel is pleased to host Marsha Snyder Schroeder, University of Texas at Austin graduate, as a guest lecturer in NSC 309, Science to Design: Textiles and Apparel. Ms. Schroeder, a 1994 TXA graduate, has had a varied career in the industry. Her background covers retail buying, product development and brand licensing with Macy’s, The Gap and The Coca-Cola Company.
“I am passionate about all aspects of the retail industry, and I always hoped one day to come back to UT to share my knowledge and love for what I do,” says Ms. Schroeder. “My former program at Texas has always remained close to my heart and I am thrilled to be able to give something back.”
Ms. Schroeder lives in Atlanta, and for the past six years she has worked in global brand licensing at The Coca-Cola Company. She is currently the Global Licensing Manager responsible for leading the development and execution of Coca-Cola licensed products across multiple merchandise categories. Her professional experience covers all facets of our degree programs, so please plan to attend this informative lecture and welcome Ms. Schroeder back to her alma
