DNI Open Source Center - Information Session

Mon, September 24, 2012 • 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM • PAR 304

All foreign language-capable UT students are invited to attend an

information session for the DNI Open Source Center, a US intelligence

agency based in Washington, DC. The session will take place on 24

September at 6:00pm in Parlin 304. Students interested in paid summer

internships or full-time employment after graduation are encouraged to

bring a copy of their resume.

The DNI Open Source Center is seeking students and alumni with foreign

language skills--especially Arabic, Farsi, Hindi, Urdu, Dari, Chinese,

Russian, Turkish, and Balkan languages--for either paid full-time Open

Source Officer positions or internships in Washington, DC. Applicants

must be US citizens. All positions require relocation to the

Washington, DC area; paid relocation assistance is available.

Open Source Officers are experts in collecting and analyzing publicly

available information in the foreign arena. They apply their foreign

language, area knowledge, and subject matter expertise to review and

assess foreign information sources and provide high-impact products to

the US foreign affairs community. Officers may specialize in an area

of the world or in specific topics (economics, technology, media,

military, proliferation, cyber security, science, etc.)
