DNI Open Source Center - Information Session

Thu, October 4, 2012 • 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM • Parlin 210

All foreign language-capable UT students--especially Arabic and Farsi  

capable students--are invited to attend an information session for the  

DNI Open Source Center, a US intelligence agency based in Washington,  

DC. The session will take place on 4 October at 6:00pm in Parlin 210.  

Students interested in paid summer

internships, paid graduate fellowships or full-time employment after  

graduation are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume for a  

possible on-the-spot interview.


Applicants must be US citizens. All positions are located in the

Washington, DC area; paid relocation assistance is available.

 

Open Source Officers are experts in collecting and analyzing publicly

available information in the foreign arena. They apply their foreign

language, area knowledge, and subject matter expertise to review and

assess foreign information sources and provide high-impact products to

the US foreign affairs community. Officers may specialize in an area

of the world or in specific topics (economics, technology, media,

military, proliferation, cyber security, science, etc.)
