Concordia Language Villages in Minnesota is seeking speakers of languages other than English as summer staff in its residential language and culture immersion programs.
Since 1961, Concordia Language Villages has boldly and optimistically pursued a vision of peace and understanding by educating young people in the languages and cultures of our world. We offer language and culture immersion programs in 15 languages for young people (ages 7 to 18) and employment opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and international students. We also hire credentialed teachers and pre-teachers.
Counseling and teaching positions are available for speakers of Arabic, Chinese, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. Lifeguard certificate or guitar-playing skills are helpful but not necessary. RNs, health care assistants, and food service employees who do or don’t speak another language are also hired.
