The mission of the Austin Children’s Museum is to create innovative learning experiences for children and families that equip and inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers.
In this position the intern will assist in teaching, evaluating and developing curriculum for children ages 4-6. They will work closely with the education department to create fun, educational and meaningful experiences for children enrolled in summer programs.
This internship position will provide the student with practical experience teaching, developing curriculum, and implementing programs in the museum setting. They will have the opportunity to work with a well respected educational establishment and learn the behind-the-scenes workings of a successful children’s museum.
