Austin Children's Museum Half Day Camp Assistant Teacher - Application Deadline

Position Summary:
Responsible for co-teaching camp at the Austin Children’s Museum with a lead teacher and 3 other assistants for 25 children, ages 4 to 6.
May 28 - August 16
7:30am - 12:30pm, M-F (25 hours per week, $8.50/hour)
May 28 - 31
12:30pm - 5:30 pm, M-F (25 hours per week, $8.50/hour)
Must be available at least 4 weeks between May 28 and August 16.
Must be able to attend the mandatory camp training on May 18.
Major Responsibilities:
•Assists with leading daily activities
•Prepare supplies for daily activities
•Help organize the schedule for the day
•Supervise campers to keep them safe and engaged
•Communicate with parents upon drop off and pick up
•Help supervise teenage volunteers and interns
•In charge of general clean up
