Spruce Jewelry Creative Intern, BTT Gateway Job ID 6830

Description:

Are you an art or design student looking for hands-on experience with a thriving, creative business? If so, an internship with Spruce Jewelry might be right for you.

Founded in 2008, Spruce Jewelry creates custom necklaces and earrings inspired by the geometry of nature. Over the past several years, Spruce has grown from a humble sapling, generating national buzz at trade shows, in print, online and even on TV.

Since our success is as much because of our jewelry as it is our marketing and the way we manage our business, the intern experience touches on all aspects of our business.

These responsibilities may include:

Managing inventory of finished products and loose components
Implementing social media, direct email (MailChimp) and other marketing campaigns
Working sales booths at local events, such as First Thursday
Establishing and maintaining contact with vendors and press
Processing orders and contact informations, including packing and invoicing
Photographing and photoshopping new jewelry pieces

Application Instructions:

To apply, please submit a resume, a short essay (250-300 words) which explains why you are the right choice for this internship, and a creative portfolio (optional), to hello@sprucejewelry.com with the subject line "Creative Intern" by 3/25/2013.
