What is Keep Austin Housed? 
Front Steps Keep Austin Housed AmeriCorps project is currently recruiting individuals interested in serving an 11 month AmeriCorps term to provide intensive mentoring and case management services to adults, families, and youth who are experiencing, have formerly experienced, or are at-risk of experiencing homelessness in the Austin, Texas. 

The Keep Austin Housed Experience 
• Learn valuable case management skills 
• Enhance delivery of local agencies 
• Engage and empower clients who are experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness 
• Educate the community-at-large on issues related to homelessness 
• Make lifelong friendships and connections 

Service Term and Hours 
Full-time members begin their term of service on September 3rd, 2013 and end on August 1st, 2014. Members will serve 37-40 hours per week, completing 1700 service hours by the end of service. Work hours are generally between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday with some possibility of evening or weekend hours. Members will serve their term at one of our partner agencies, including: Front Steps (lead agency), Caritas of Austin, Casa Marianella, Family Eldercare, Foundation for the Homeless, Goodwill Industries of Central Texas, LifeWorks, SafePlace, and Trinity Center. 
Number of positions with project: 31 full-time positions
