Austin Pro Bono Grant Writing Intern, BTT Gateway Job ID 6954

The mission of AustinProBono (APB) is to connect skills based volunteers with nonprofit projects. As we grow our impact on the Austin community, we are looking for new funding sources. The grants intern will work with a team of individuals on grant research and writing. This is an outstanding opportunity for a future nonprofit leader to gain valuable experience and make a significant impact on a new and growing organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Create a grants calendar and research funding sources with available grants APB would be eligible to receive.

Draft grant submissions and work with APB Board to finalize and submit applications.

Build relationships with local grantors and gather feedback related to APB mission and impact that would increase our chances of eligibility for local and regional funds.

Work with APB Board and intern group to build out program metrics that demonstrate the largest impact and will allow accurate reporting for any grants received.

To apply, send your resume and cover letter describing why you are interested in this internship to Lisa Graham at lisa.graham@austinprobono.org.  Application deadline is 5/1/2013.
