ABOUT OUR COMPANY 
Cave Henricks Communications is a full-service media relations and consulting firm for authors. 

Our expertise is in crafting publicity campaigns that generate widespread media attention, creating an environment for book sales success and positioning our roster of authors as thought leaders in the marketplace. 

Using our collective experience and unbridled passion for the power of a great book, we help authors grow a wider platform for their game-changing ideas and powerful stories. We focus on quality non-fiction work including business, current events, personal growth, health, history, biography and memoir. 


ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP 
We are looking for a public relations intern with strong writing, communication and research skills. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, strong interest in public relations and enjoy a good book. Although this is an unpaid internship, we provide flexible hours and will teach you marketable skills in a fun work environment. Interns are required to take responsibility for assigned duties and meet deadlines. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
-Writing and assembling press kits 
-Researching appropriate media outlets for press coverage 
-Conducting outreach to media contacts 
-Updating publicity database 
-Monitoring press coverage and maintaining media reports 
-Participating in creative brainstorms for client campaigns 
-Assisting with book mailings
