Benefits of the Internship:
Selected candidates will receive a high level of responsibility, significant hands-on experience, and connections in the mobile technology industry. Participants in the program are unpaid, but have opportunities to earn commission on leads that close. Top performers have the option to convert to full-time (typically within 3 months) and earn salary, options, and benefits within one of the three departments.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Waterfall takes an integrated approach to building selected candidates’ business skills across three departments:
-Strategize with sales managers to plan and evaluate target segments specifically growing our SMB Business Division
-Manage and develop lead generation through outbound emails, calls and networking sites
-Create and track a database of potential clients by market and product
-Evaluate success through sales life cycle to refine sales targeting
-Research, analyze, and present findings on competitive landscape
-Implement, audit and test client SMS/MMS campaigns
-Build integrated and interactive IVR campaigns
-Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance
-Learn the carrier, aggregator, and short code landscape
-Track, adjust and direct online statistical metric analysis
-Craft various marketing collateral, including one-pagers, presentations, and webinars
-Drive customer growth through Brand Ambassador initiative
Across all three departments selected candidates will:
-Participate in internal company meetings and interact with Senior Leadership team
-Partake in external prospect/client meetings and provide perspective and insight into recommendations
-Assist and advise day-to-day administrative tasks
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate the Waterfall advantage
-Creative, open-minded, strong initiative as well as a willingness to learn
-Able to perform under sensitive deadlines and concurrently work on several projects that vary in complexity
-Vast experience with MS Office and researching/using the web
-An interest in technology and interactive communication
-Fun and outgoing personality
