Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc. is actively recruiting Business Development and Marketing Interns for its Fall 2013 Business Development and Marketing Internship Program. One intern will be specifically hired to manage marketing and social media projects for the company. Please indicate your interest in this field in your application. Business Development Position
Working directly with a Chasse Consulting Account Manager, the Business Development Intern is responsible for supporting the Business Development Team in the search and delivery of new business to the organization. Interns benefit from hands-on experience by providing research and analysis of current and potential clients, competitors, and market trends. This internship is a research-intensive position, requiring strong commitment, attention to detail, and time management skills. This position is ideal for students seeking work experience with multi-national, Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, the Business Development Intern helps in the production and review of client-facing materials, while collaborating on a variety of projects to maintain the day-to-day processes of the Business Development Department.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Conducting new business research for business development
• Researching current clients and helping with the update of client account plans
• Reviewing client-facing materials for accuracy and quality
• Collaborating with other interns to produce and deliver on internal company projects
• Delivering accurate competitive research reports and analysis
• Supporting the Development Team on company projects where applicable
• One intern will be specifically tasked with supporting the social media and marketing functions of the organization, dividing their time between their business development and marketing responsibilities

Dual Business Development & Marketing Position
Working directly with a Chasse Consulting Account Manager, one intern will be specifically tasked with supporting the social media and marketing functions of the company while also working as a business development intern. Candidate will be required to split their time between business development and marketing projects. Special consideration will be given to candidates with graphic design experience, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Please indicate your interest in this area. This internship can be taken for course credit and is a paid position.

Duties include all responsibilities of the Business Development Intern as well as:
• Social media monitoring and support
• Corporate communications projects
• Website maintenance and upkeep
• Presentation design
• Press release writing*
• Assorted writing projects*
• Assorted graphic design projects**

*Robust writing abilities are required
**Special consideration will be given to candidates with a graphic design background

Qualifications
• Excellent research and analytical skills with a firm grasp on using market and scholarly research tools
• Ability to analyze financial statements, including annual reports, quarterly reports, and 10Ks
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet research savvy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to edit and proofread documents accurately
• Excellent writing and grammar ability
• High integrity and commitment
• 10-20 hours per week is preferred, but schedule is flexible
• Bilingual, preferred but not required
