Bring a brown bag lunch and join UT Austin Peace Corps campus recruiter Kristi Stillwell to learn about how you can use your education and skills to go abroad for two years.  Peace Corps volunteers serve worldwide in over 70 countries and provide valuable assistance in the fields of health, education, business and information technology, environmental advocacy, agricultural development, and youth development.  Benefits Include: travel, possible student loan deferral, full medical/dental coverage, living stipend, $7,425 readjustment allowance upon completion of service, graduate school opportunities, and 48 vacation days.  Volunteers gain invaluable real world experience that can is useful in applying for jobs and grad school.  Kristi will discuss the application process, how one can become a competitive applicant, and be available for questions.

Peace Corps is especially in need of applicants with degrees or experience in Education, English Teaching, Environment, Agriculture, and Forestry. Language skills in French or Spanish are a plus for certain programs. All majors welcome.
