The Health and Human Services Commission's Emergency Services Program is currently accepting resumes for full-time and part-time intern applicants. 

The Emergency Services Program (ESP) Internship Program provides graduate and under-graduate students with guidance and assistance towards completing a successful internship experience. 
This internship position will support the Emergency Services Program (ESP). The Emergency Services Program administers and provides oversight of three federal-funded programs: Other Needs Assistance, Disaster Case Management and Repatriation Programs. The program serves as a liaison with federal and state partners which includes the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), US Health and Human Services, US Administration of Children and Families and the Texas Division of Emergency Management. 

Requirements: Applicants should be motivated, fast learners with demonstrated writing, research, and organizational skills. Potential candidates must have a strong academic background, be able to manage multiple projects at a time, and maintain a professional and positive attitude. A keen interest in government is preferred. Candidates must be able to commit a minimum of 20 hours a week.
