Interface Consulting International, Inc., a Houston based engineering and construction consulting firm, has a quality assurance/communications coordinator position available in its commercial department. The primary responsibility of the job is working closely with the firm’s senior management in corporate communications to generate project, marketing, and public relations documents. Duties will include proofreading and editing all communications at this level such as project/marketing correspondence, proposals, contractual obligations, and work products. Once the individual develops the learning curve of the company’s procedures, services, and its marketplace, the position will get more involved in the writing of corporate communications.
The requirements of the position include having a Bachelors degree, preferably in English, communications, or business, and editing, legal, and/or business experience. The successful candidate must be a professional who manages time wisely, possesses effective oral and written communications skills, works well in a team environment, and is resourceful with computer programs and internet research.
The compensation structure includes a salary, bonus, profit sharing plan, and motivational incentive program. The salary is competitive and negotiable based on the individual’s skill level.
