The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) offers internships for those individuals who quest for a challenging and absolutely rewarding experience. We welcome applicants for paid and unpaid intern positions throughout the year. We also offer State Fair and Stock Show internships that will furnish the intern with the experience that is deemed imperative in today's workplace. Our internships can be based in either our main office in Austin, one of our regional offices, seed laboratories, pesticide laboratory, nematology lab or livestock export facilities across the state. Our fall State Fair and spring Stock Show internships offer our most diverse program. Interns will work in exhibits throughout the State of Texas, helping to narrate the magnificent tale of agriculture's value to Texas.
Prerequisites for an internship include current enrollment at a college or university and the successful completion of at least 15 hours in courses that pertain to the internship program of interest. We invite you to research all opportunities at our agency.
