Position Summary: 

Just out of college or looking to make a career change? If you have an interest in a sales career, you may be just who we’re looking for! The Inside Sales team will partner with external sales territory managers to support their activities while driving and closing new and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities: 

Interfaces with Websense sales team members, customers, prospects, and reseller partners on a daily basis via telephone and email to identify, progress and close new, renewal, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities though ethical sales methods, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. 
Supports the field sales activities with quoting, offers for customers, and other activities as requested. 
Maps enterprise accounts identifying IT decision makers and setting up appointments for the field sales representatives. 
Qualifies leads including detailed needs analysis, product overview, and potential solution fit. 
Keeps detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities in Websense customer contact database; schedules follow up activities as needed. 
Develops relationships with key partners for growth of Websense products within their markets. 
Plans and prioritizes personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving sales targets. 
Organizes and executes specialized projects such as call-out campaigns, data updates, and creating presentations. 
Maintains high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. 
Networks with industry influences, professional associations, and existing clients. 
Desired Experience and Skills: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or related field desirable or equivalent experience. 
0 - 3 years of sales experience or related industry experience. 
Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. 
Basic strong sales skills including negotiating and persuasion. 
Knowledge of sales of software or computer related products. 
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. 
Inside Sales/Telesales/Business Development Experience in a high tech company preferred.
