Job Summary 

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) owns a specific territory and associated quota. The ISR proactively interfaces with prospects/clients and reseller partners on a daily basis via telephone and email to qualify and drive business opportunities to closure. The ISR is responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals for a designated region, and may manage new logo and/or current clients. Essential Functions 
Manages prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory. 
Interfaces with Websense sales team members, customers, prospects, and reseller partners on a daily basis via telephone and email to identify, progress and close opportunities though ethical sales methods, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. 
Qualifies leads including detailed needs analysis, product overview, and potential solution fit. 
Conducts daily prospecting with outbound calls to build pipeline within current client base and/or prospective clients. 
Leads sales discovery process and presentations via webinars with sales engineers, resellers, and end users. 
Keeps detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities in Websense customer contact database. 
Develops relationships with key partners in their territory to identify new business opportunities. 
Plans and prioritizes personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving sales targets. 
Organizes and executes specialized projects such as call-out campaigns, data updates, creating presentations. 
Learns and maintains in-depth knowledge of Websense products and technologies, competitive products and industry trends. 
Maintains high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business while driving up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with customers. 
Networks with industry influencers, professional associations, and existing clients. 
Education and Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication or related field desirable or equivalent experience. 
0-3 years of sales experience or related technology industry experience. 
Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. 
Basic strong sales skills including negotiating and persuasion. 
Knowledge of sales in software or computer related products. 
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. 
Inside Sales/Telesales/Business Development Experience in a high tech company preferred.
