LA 325: The Liberal Arts Entrepreneur course is designed to help you use your creativity, innovative ideas and skills to create an entrepreneurial business.

Liberal Arts Career Services is offering LA 325: The Liberal Arts Entrepreneur (Unique# 30325; class meets Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30 PM). Course application deadline: January 13, 2014.

This three-credit, upper-division course is designed to help you use your creativity, innovative ideas, and skills to create an entrepreneurial business. By the end of the course you will have a fully developed launch-ready business plan.  Whether you choose to immediately embark on your entrepreneurial career is up to you.    


Entrepreneurial Projects: What types of entrepreneurial projects are acceptable for this course? Projects can be profit-making or nonprofit service-based ventures.  We are just as open-minded as you are creative. That said, your idea needs to be well-conceived, feasible and within your area of expertise. If you're committed to your idea- we're interested in hearing about it. Application Info: The Application Deadline is January 13, 2014. Enrollment for this course is application based. Applications will be reviewed as received on a rolling basis. Enrollment is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be judged on how well-conceived your idea is and how much commitment and expertise you have to make this work.

Eligibility: Liberal Arts students with 30+ credit hours by the start of the semester in which enrolled and an active BTT Gateway account. A limited number of Bridging Discipline students with non-liberal arts majors are eligible to apply, and can be admitted pending approval of the application.
