The Harry Middleton Lectureship presents Bryan Cranston and Plan II Honors alum Robert Schenkkan

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and Plan II Honors alum Robert Schenkkan and Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston of "Breaking Bad” will appear on Thursday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m. in the LBJ Auditorium. Cranston and Schenkkan will discuss Schenkkan's new drama, "All the Way," an exploration of LBJ's first year in the presidency starring Cranston in the role of Lyndon Johnson. The play will have its Broadway premiere this winter.

Seating is limited, and tickets are required for entry. 

1. PUBLIC:  Tickets are FREE and will be available to the public between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the front desk of the LBJ Library (2313 Red River Street) beginning Tuesday, November 5. Limit two per person. 

2. U.T. STUDENTS: FREE tickets will be available with a U.T. student ID at the Student Activities Center (SAC) ticket office located on the main floor beginning Tuesday, November 5.

About the Harry Middleton Lectureship:

Lady Bird Johnson established the Harry Middleton Lectureship in 1994 to honor the career, loyalty and legacy of Mr. Middleton, who served in the Johnson administration and as Director of the LBJ Library for 30 years.  The lectureship was designed to attract and enrich the learning experiences of U.T. students and the Austin community.  Speakers include former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, Presidents Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford, Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Tom Brokaw, and playwright and film director David Mamet.  The lecture series is co-sponsored by the LBJ Presidential Library and the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation.
