Ken Miller is a graduate student in the Department of Government and a Research Assistant for both the Experimental Political Behavior & Communication Laboratory and the Irma Rangel Public Policy Institute.
Prior to pursuing his doctoral degree in Government at the University of Texas at Austin, Ken Miller was the Director of Political Research and Campaigns at The Results Group, a polling and political consulting firm conducting research for Democratic candidates and non-partisan ballot issue campaigns. Ken had previously spent seven years as an analyst in quantitative market research, conducting projects for major corporations such as Calphalon Cookware, Key Bank, Parker-Hannifin, Progressive Insurance, Rubbermaid, and others.
Ken earned his master’s degree from the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at the University of Akron. As part of that program Ken interned with The Mellman Group, a polling and consulting firm in Washington, DC where he worked on public opinion projects for Sen. Harry Reid (NV), Sen. Barbara Boxer (CA), Rep. John Barrow (GA 12), Rep. Shelley Berkley (NV 1), the California Teachers Association, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the American Beverage Association.
Ken is a member of the American Political Science Association, the American Association for Public Opinion Research, and the Society for American Baseball Research.
