Sociology Faculty Search – September 2015

The Department of Sociology at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a faculty member to contribute to its program in health and health disparities.  This is a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin Fall 2016. The position will involve undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, publication, and service to the department, the College of Liberal Arts, and the university.

Applicants should at a minimum have a Ph.D. in hand or expected by August 2016, demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, and have a clearly defined research agenda. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter that includes a description of current and planned research, current Curriculum Vitae, writing sample, and three letters of reference to: Mark D.
