Claude Bonazzo

Claude Bonazzo is a graduate student in the Department of Sociology with research interests in race and ethnic relations, education, and health disparities. Claude is currently working on a project that draws on national quantitative data and locally collected qualitative data to examine the degree to which efforts to support the English language learning of low-income Mexican immigrant women enables them to better manage their children's experiences in American schools. The project was funded by The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and is a subset of a larger NICHD-funded grant, Race/Ethnicity, Poverty, and the Connection between Child Health and Early Education, that is housed at the Population Research Center and headed by Rob Crosnoe.
